Responsibilities

• Oversee and lead a group of 35 FTEs to guarantee successful and efficient maritime freight operations. • Create and carry out strategic initiatives that will promote profitability and growth in the West African area. • Oversee maritime freight operations in Ghana and its surrounding nations, making sure that local and international laws are followed. • Develop trusting connections with important parties, such as partners, clients, and regulatory agencies. • To spot possibilities and reduce risks, keep an eye on regional advancements, competition activity, and market trends.

Requirements

• Ten years or more of expertise managing maritime freight in the logistics sector. • Fluent in both French and English, with strong interpersonal and negotiating abilities. • Shown leadership skills and a history of building and leading productive teams. • Extensive understanding of the West African maritime freight sector and a robust network of connections in the industry. • Result-oriented strategic thinker with the capacity to promote operational excellence.
