Overview

This is a full-time, hybrid position with some flexibility to work remotely, based in Accra. You will be in charge of ensuring our success as our business development lead by assembling and managing a group of account and sales professionals to increase revenue and sales. You will be in charge of managing the complete sales process, from creating effective sales strategies to motivating and guiding your group to exceed goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead Strategy and Growth: Use data-driven methods to generate new customer acquisition and high revenue targets. Analyze market trends, competition activity, and customer demands to uncover new sales possibilities. • Create a Winning staff by hiring, integrating, coaching, and training a top-performing sales staff with measurable performance in a cooperative and upbeat work atmosphere. • Manage the Pipeline: Take charge of the sales pipeline and make sure that deals move smoothly from lead generation to a closed agreement. • Team Empowerment: Encourage and mentor individual salespeople to improve their strategies for closing more business and providing consistently high-quality customer care. • Create Powerful Communications: Create and produce persuasive sales pitches and presentations that clearly communicate to prospective clients the benefits of our offerings. • Expertly Negotiate: When negotiating and closing a deal, make sure that the terms and conditions of the business are met. • Cultivate Strategic Relationships: Gain a thorough grasp of the requirements and experiences of new and current consumers by forming strong bonds with industry connections. • Utilize Data and Insights: Track and evaluate sales data to pinpoint problem areas and enhance sales procedures.

Requirements

• Five years minimum of experience in sales management or business development, ideally in the IT or telecom sectors. • A track record of successfully creating and managing high-achieving sales teams to meet or surpass goals. • Strong coaching, mentoring, and leadership abilities with the capacity to uplift and encourage a group. • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presenting abilities with the capacity to establish relationships with a variety of stakeholders. • Strong data-driven problem-solving and analytical abilities. • Capacity to operate autonomously and effectively handle several tasks in a hectic setting. • Profound knowledge of the telecoms or IT sectors (a plus). • It is recommended if you have experience with CRM software, such as Clickup, Salesforce, etc. • Skilled with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office 365.
