Overview

With the primary objective of advancing employee welfare and assisting management and its duly authorized representatives, this role will serve as a support for all internal and external inquiries as well as on particular topics of, but not limited to, employee and labor relations, policy making, and implementation of company procedures, rules, and regulations enshrined in Company's Handbook and Code of Conduct.

Responsibilities

An employee relations and compliance manager in HR will: • Ensure that the Human Resources Supervisor is in charge of the recruitment and selection process, employee relations, records supervisor, human resources business partners (HRBPs), and other Human Resources - Employee Relations team members. • Oversee the smooth operation of all team member services, create employee programs that are effective, and handle all employee communications in accordance with all policies. • Oversee all team member assistance with government agency policies and procedures, handle all recruiting efforts, oversee associate training, and handle all contacts with managers and staff. You will also be able to spot problems with various programs. • Investigate different employee activities, handle any problems, support all organizational operations, enable effective, high-quality services in all programs, and oversee employee communication. • Provide technical assistance for all internal and external programs, keep cordial working relationships with every employee, manage all projects, create and implement a range of personnel programs, and suggest cost-cutting measures. • Create and implement a variety of orientation programs to assist new hires in understanding their job duties and the policies and procedures of the organization. You should also oversee the efficient operation of all affirmative action initiatives and ensure that all goals are met. • Oversee all related operations with staff members in order to organize, direct, and take part in all unemployment hearings. • Participate in a variety of company-sponsored seminars and meetings, oversee program repairs for employees, and guarantee that all programs are handled effectively. • Work together to complete a variety of board evaluations, handle all discrimination complaints, and provide resources to reduce any hazards. • Resolve all employee concerns, attend training seminars, participate in different business hearings, and stay up to date on any unemployment appeals. • Participate in numerous SEC meetings, work with staff and management to resolve all concerns, and suggest disciplinary action where necessary. • Acts as the point of contact for any ad hoc work as well as any related jobs that are occasionally allocated. Corporate Accountabilities • Set an example for others to follow and embody the goals, values, and Agents Bill of Rights (ABOR) of company • Directing the implementation of corporate and company plans for your own areas of accountability • adopting a proactive approach to risk management, making sure that hazards and problems are found, dealt with, reported, and, if necessary, escalated. • Utilizing line management, matrix management, or other appropriate management structures to oversee people or groups, making sure that performance is monitored and that sufficient resources are scheduled to accomplish goals. • Must be completely aware of and actively adhering to the company's policies and procedures, particularly those pertaining to equality, sustainability and the environment, health and safety, and data protection. These policies and procedures should also be closely linked to your personal duties.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree: A bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field is typically required for most human resources roles. • Field experience: Field experience is also essential, which can be accomplished through internships, co-ops, or entry-level positions. • Certifications: Obtaining extra certifications from professional organizations can demonstrate expertise and commitment to the field. • Soft skills: Being a human resources manager requires more than education and professional experience. It also requires soft skills that can be less tangible to develop than technical skills or industry knowledge.
