Beauty Salon Manager

Overview

Your daily responsibilities as a beauty salon manager will involve supervising the salon's operations, managing the personnel, setting up appointments, keeping an eye on inventory, and guaranteeing a high standard of client pleasure. Additionally, you will be in charge of advertising and promoting the salon's goods and services.

Responsibilities

• Staff Management: Hiring, training, and supervising stylists, aestheticians, and other salon staff. • Client Relations: Building and maintaining client relationships, handling customer complaints, and ensuring client satisfaction. • Financial Management: Managing salon finances, including budgeting, inventory control, and revenue growth. • Marketing and Advertising: Developing and implementing marketing strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones. • Inventory and Supply Management: Ordering and maintaining inventory of beauty products and supplies. • Salon Operations: Overseeing daily salon operations, including scheduling appointments, managing bookings, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. • Quality Control: Ensuring high-quality services are delivered by staff, and implementing quality control measures. • Customer Service: Ensuring excellent customer service standards are met, and resolving any customer complaints.

Requirements

• Strong leadership and communication abilities • Previous management experience in a salon or a position similar to it • Outstanding interpersonal and customer service abilities Expertise in the latest trends and techniques in the beauty business • The capacity to efficiently prioritize and multitask • Problem-solving and organizing abilities • Graduate of High School • Having prior marketing and social media management experience is advantageous. • A plus is having the flexibility to work nights and weekends when needed and having a low to medium skill level (like a hairstylist, braider, or nail technician). • English must be spoken; IT savvy
