The duties of the Registered Nurse include direct patient care, medication administration, vital sign monitoring, and teamwork with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Assessing patients' conditions and developing care plans. • Administering medications and treatments. • Conducting physical exams and taking medical histories. • Collaborating with doctors and other healthcare professionals. • Educating patients and their families on health conditions and self-care. • Monitoring patients' progress and adjusting care plans as needed. • Providing emotional support and counseling to patients and their families. • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records. • Participating in continuing education and professional development. • Responding to medical emergencies and codes. • Collaborating with other healthcare teams, such as social work and rehabilitation therapy. • Participating in patient care conferences and rounds.
• A current nursing license • Familiarity with medical terms and patient care guidelines • Familiarity with monitoring patients' vital signs and delivering prescriptions • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities • The capacity to prioritize activities and operate in a fast-paced work setting • Precision and meticulousness in documentation • Capacity to work well in tandem with the multidisciplinary healthcare team • A bachelor's degree in nursing or a similar profession
