Overview

The Operations Manager will be in charge of managing the business's daily operations and making sure that security services are provided without a hitch. They will be in charge of overseeing and arranging security guards, upholding customer relations, keeping an eye on output, and carrying out operational plans. Based in Ghana's Greater Accra Region, the Operations Manager will collaborate closely with the management group.

Responsibilities

• Service Delivery Management: Ensure high-quality security services are delivered to clients, meeting contractual requirements and industry standards. • Team Management: Lead and manage a team of security personnel, including supervisors, officers, and administrative staff. • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring service excellence. • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate operational risks, implementing measures to prevent accidents, incidents, and security breaches. • Compliance: Ensure adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards (e.g., licensing, training, and health & safety). • Budgeting and Financial Management: Oversee operational budgets, manage resources efficiently, and make cost-effective decisions. • Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development of the company's strategic plan, aligning operations with business objectives. • Operational Efficiency: Continuously improve processes, streamline workflows, and implement technology enhancements to boost productivity. • Training and Development: Ensure security personnel receive necessary training and development opportunities to enhance skills and performance. • Incident Response: Manage and respond to security incidents, crises, or emergencies, minimizing impact and ensuring effective resolution.

Requirements

• Strong managerial and leadership abilities • A background in the security sector or a similar subject Strong organizational and problem-solving skills • Interpersonal and communication abilities that work • Familiarity with security policies, processes, and systems • Capacity to make wise choices under duress Proven ability to establish and sustain connections with clients • Proficiency with the necessary software • Proficiency in instructing and managing security staff • Familiarity with local laws and rules concerning the security sector • Relevant security management credentials or degrees (e.g., CPP, CPO)
