The management of Farmerline's whole accounts payable department will fall within the purview of the Finance Officer-Intern (Payables).
Accounts payable responsibilities • Make sure all requests for farmer services are reviewed once a week, and have the required clearances before making any payments. • Make that every payment is made within the 2024 budget that has been approved. • Make sure the right paperwork is attached to every payment. • Make sure that no project expense goes over the allocated funds for implementation. • Make sure suppliers abide by all corporate policies by conducting due diligence on them. • Verify if Mergdata Software has completely digitized all accounts payable functions. • In order to guarantee that bank advice is received shortly after payment and distributed to the right person, coordinate with the financial controller. • Every payment request is examined to prevent conflicts of interest. Cash payment obligations • Payments (pay time and farmer resource) are reconciled daily to the budgets for farmer services. • Bank account reconciliation on a weekly basis, including pay period payments • Make sure that the financial controller is notified right away of any detected fraud issues. Obligations for financial reporting • Make sure you give all the information required for month-end reporting on time. • Operate as the primary point of contact for external audits of cash payments and accounts payable. • Make that the accounts payable cycle time is always fulfilled. • Whatever additional tasks that the supervisor may assign
• Accounting and Finance Bachelor's Degree • Experience from the past will be beneficial.
