Overview

The HR Manager will handle all HR operational functions inside the factory and report directly to the General Manager. 3200 workers are divided into two shifts, and the HR Manager will oversee a group of 15 HR associates, two of whom are Assistant Managers. Training and development, absenteeism control, incentive schemes, implementing performance management systems, HR analytics, hiring, and payroll accuracy are some of the main areas of attention. The ideal applicant would have a solid foundation in HR operations and substantial expertise in the garment manufacturing sector.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the creation and implementation of the HR strategic strategy for the entire organization in Ghana. • Implement organizational development programs in close collaboration with T&D, such as those pertaining to corporate culture development, change management, teamwork development, internal communication, and the induction and orientation of all new recruits in accordance with the requirements of their positions. • In charge of hiring and placing senior personnel in Ghanaian operations, make sure that all recruitment rules and procedures are in line with one another and suggest changes. • Examine all HR policies, procedures, and practices to make sure they comply with national laws and best practices as well as Ghanaian operations. • Help in supervising the HR function of the Performance Appraisal System (PAS) and Human Resources Information System (HRIS) with Department Managers and the Group GM HR Team to make sure it is used efficiently to support the analysis of reports and statistical data to support relevant decision making. • Examine the Performance Management Policy and Procedure by itself, along with the Performance Appraisal System, and make any necessary updates or modifications to improve people's performance. • Determine development and succession planning using the performance management appraisal. Then, give policy and procedure for succession planning and people's development programs, such as management trainees, supervisor development, executive development, and so forth. • Plan and implement HR and T&D initiatives, as well as handle unique demands of an individual, operation, or employee engagement and motivational programs, in collaboration with the plant HR team and line managers. • Give counsel and direction to support the local HR teams' growth and empowerment as well as the achievement of HR KPIs and outcomes. • Assist in managing the compliance function's execution and implementation, promote business sustainability through social intervention, and lead any necessary ad hoc projects, programs, or activities pertaining to corporate social responsibility. • Collaborate with the HR departments and functional heads to use company magazines, branding initiatives, and employer branding resource budgets to advance the dignity of DTRT as "Employer Branding" and establish Ghana as the Employer of Choice.

• Outstanding listening, communication, and persuasion abilities • Outstanding interpersonal abilities • Strong attention to detail and organizing abilities • Good mindset and skill sets for people development • Strong presentation and facilitation abilities • Strong background in resolving conflicts • Experience working in a multi-national and multi-national setting. • A benefit is having prior manufacturing, trading, or garment industry experience. • Years of Experience: (A minimum of ten years of relevant work experience in HR, including training and development, and at least five years in a managerial or senior position) • Capable of applying sound commercial judgment to HR activities. • Capable of implementing and overseeing every facet of the HRM function in accordance with accepted standards and guidelines. • Able to quietly handle sensitive topics and win over colleagues' trust and confidence. • Adaptable, inventive, and imaginative • High elasticity of learning • Result-driven and capable of multitasking • The capacity to collaborate independently with staff members at head office and operational units. • Experience leading international or corporate projects. • Leadership and involvement in the team
