Overview

Are you a seasoned, morally-responsible leader who supports social inclusion, female Ghanaian participation in teams, and good governance? Then submit an application to be a Country Director. To act as the organization's project and staff leader at the country office as it pursues its expansion.

Responsibilities

• Financial stewardship: oversee spending plans, obtain funds, and make sure rules and agreements with donors are followed. • Project Implementation: Create and execute organizational country strategy in accordance with donor requests and project requirements; supervise project execution within the country office. • Team Leader: Create a culture of positivity at work, develop talent, and assemble a high-performing team. • Program Champion: Oversee the creation, execution, and assessment of the program, making sure that it is in line with SEND's objectives. Boost the influence of your organization via excellent monitoring and evaluation, as well as innovation. • Strategic Thinker: Create and put into action plans that will increase SEND's influence and reach in Ghana. • Public Figure: Develop and maintain solid connections with stakeholders, represent SEND Ghana at regional, national, and worldwide events. • Promote Gender Equality: Encourage gender equality in SEND and in Ghanaian society at large.

Requirements

• A master's degree in any relevant field, such as social development, activism, or NGO management. • A minimum of seven years of experience working with NGOs, with three of those years spent in senior management. • A track record of successfully developing, implementing, and funding programs. • Capacity to draft project proposals that succeed. • Strong background in donor compliance and financial management. • Demonstrated capacity for teamwork and leadership. • Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and presenting abilities. • Profound knowledge of the development landscape and Ghanaian setting. • A strong commitment to gender equality and a passion for social justice
