Senior Business Development Executive

Overview

To lead our growth initiatives in four important verticals—Corporate Disbursement, Merchant Payment Solutions, Buy Now Pay Later Initiative, and Liquidity Support for Mobile Money Agents—we are looking for a creative Senior Business Development Executive. In order to improve our service offerings and market reach, this function entails strategic planning and the implementation of business development initiatives, with an emphasis on proactively seeking out new business verticals, forming alliances, and developing collaborations.

Responsibilities

• Create and put into action growth strategy for each of our four main verticals. • Work together to expand our service offerings and integrate technological solutions with internal teams and outside partners like MTN. • Proactively seek out and investigate new business sectors, alliances, and cooperative ventures. • Follow the rules and make sure you are in compliance with the BOG and other pertinent organizations. • Make connections with possible partners and clients, carry out market research, and spot fresh company prospects. • Oversee the efforts for product development and work with the engineering teams to arrange technological integrations. • To inform corporate strategy, keep an eye on the competitive environment, legislative developments, and industry trends. • Make presentations and give them to prospective investors and stakeholders. • To accomplish reciprocal progress, cultivate long-term partnerships with partners, stakeholders, and clients.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in finance, marketing, business, or a similar discipline. • 10 years or more of expertise in company development, ideally in the financial industry. • Demonstrated ability to create and implement corporate growth plans. • Strong familiarity with Ghana's regulatory framework and financial services sector. • Outstanding interpersonal, negotiating, and communication abilities. • The capacity to perform both individually and in multidisciplinary teams. • Competent analyst and problem-solver with a strategic mindset. • Knowledge of digital financing products, virtual POS systems, and mobile money platforms.
