Content System Developer

Overview

We are seeking a mid-level engineer with a passion for developing the next wave of AI-enabled educational technology, with an emphasis on the developing world where the gap in education still stands at a significant distance.

Responsibilities

• As a software developer, create and expand the content system in accordance with the general direction of the product. • Provide Rori with a high-quality content service (the initial use case). • Add functionality to allow other internal teams to use the content system. • Make the content system's user interface new. • Ascertain that the content system can interface with all upcoming Rori systems. • Help the Rori Engineering manager maintain the health and efficiency of the CMS systems on our cloud provider. • Provides technical assistance for the system

Requirements

• A minimum of four years of database, application hosting, software engineering, and system security expertise • A minimum of one year's experience developing and deploying Python applications, ideally with FastAPI and Django • A minimum of one year's expertise with modern frontend development frameworks and Javascript • A minimum of three years' expertise with contemporary software techniques, such as agile approaches or kanban • Demonstrated capacity to comprehend organizational and product needs and convert them into technical system designs
