Overview

As an export/sales manager, your main responsibility would be to oversee and coordinate the sales activities of a company in international markets. You would be in charge of developing and implementing sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, and building relationships with clients and distributors worldwide. Your role would involve conducting market research to identify potential customers and competitors, negotiating sales contracts and agreements, and ensuring timely delivery of products to customers. You would also be responsible for managing a team of sales representatives, providing guidance and support to help them achieve sales targets.

Responsibilities

• In charge of bringing the company's products to market and implementing/monitoring market policies and strategies in designated export markets to meet predetermined goals • Assistance to the sales department with price monitoring and analysis preparation • Oversees the execution of a medium-term sales plan for a channel, territories, product lines, market niches, and a single or larger portfolio of distributors or client accounts. • Plans, leads, and oversees a sales team's operations in a given region, product line, or market niche in order to meet predetermined sales goals. • Creates sales strategies, plans, and campaigns, oversees the daily operations of a sales team, and implements the organization's overall sales plan for a product line, market segment, channel, and designated geography. • Creates budgets and sales projections. • Compares sales volume, revenue, and expenses to projections in order to spot any issues. • Modifies protocols or reallocates resources in order to enhance the sales team's overall effectiveness. • Negotiates sales with clients, both new and old, who are strategically significant to the company • Participates in the creation of strategies for the area of responsibility's pricing, distribution, advertising, marketing, customer retention, and sales. • Provides coaching to sales professionals regarding the technical elements of the company's goods and services, marketing initiatives, sales promotions, and sales methods, policies, and practices that will enable them to hit their quota.

Requirements

• Four to seven years of experience working in a comparable setting (a background in FMCG would be helpful, but not necessary). • Possess a bachelor's degree in education (a master's degree is preferred) • Demonstrated success in business development and export sales • Tech-savvy and knowledgeable about logistics software (ERP) • Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint • A specialist in recognizing patterns and the sales market • Affinity for numbers and analytical abilities • Outstanding bargainer
