Senior Product Manager

Overview

The Senior Product Manager position is an on-site, full-time position in Accra. Leading the Liquidity Support Program's product strategy, roadmap creation, and lifecycle management will fall within the purview of the Senior Product Manager. The Senior Product Manager will also be in charge of creating product needs and specifications, evaluating customer input, and performing market research.

Responsibilities

• Leading the product strategy and roadmap, aligning it with business goals and customer needs. • Conducting market research to identify market trends, customer preferences, and competition. • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, such as engineering, design, and marketing, to drive product development and launch. • Defining and prioritizing product features and requirements based on user feedback and data analysis. • Managing the product lifecycle from ideation to launch and post-launch monitoring. • Analyzing product performance metrics and customer feedback to iterate and improve the product. • Identifying and evaluating potential partnerships and integration opportunities to enhance the product offering. • Developing pricing strategies and conducting pricing analysis to maximize product profitability.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of mobile money and/or the financial technology industry Experience managing and leading cross-functional teams Expertise in product development, product management, and product lifecycle management Research and customer feedback analysis Experience creating product requirements and specifications • Outstanding analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presenting abilities • A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, business, or a similar discipline; a plus is having prior experience dealing with financial institutions, mobile money agents, and mobile network providers. • An advantage is having prior experience fostering product creation and expansion in a startup setting.
