COMPANY DRIVER

Overview

As a Company Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating company vehicles to transport goods, equipment, and personnel to designated locations. Your primary goal will be to ensure the efficient and secure transportation of company assets while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

1. Safely operate company vehicles, including cars, vans, and trucks, to transport goods and personnel to specified destinations. 2. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations to ensure safe and efficient transportation. 3. Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure that vehicles are in good working condition and report any mechanical issues or defects to the appropriate personnel. 4. Maintain cleanliness and organization of company vehicles, both inside and out. 5. Plan and follow the most efficient routes to minimize travel time and fuel consumption. 6. Assist with loading and unloading goods and equipment as needed. 7. Ensure the security of company assets during transportation and while parked at various locations. 8. Maintain accurate records of vehicle mileage, fuel consumption, and trip logs. 9. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and other team members to coordinate schedules and update on transportation status. 10. Provide exceptional customer service to clients and stakeholders during transportation activities.

Requirements

1. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. 2. Proven experience as a company driver or similar role. 3. Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws and regulations. 4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 5. Ability to lift and move heavy objects. 6. Attention to detail and commitment to safety. 7. Flexibility to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed. 8. Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and route planning software. 9. Willingness to undergo background checks and drug screenings as required.
