Overview

We are looking for a results-driven Open Market Sales Representative to drive product sales and expand market presence within assigned territories. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with retailers and distributors, and ensuring consistent product availability in the open market.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage relationships with wholesalers, retailers, and distributors in assigned areas.
  • Identify and onboard new customers to grow market coverage.
  • Execute sales strategies to achieve monthly and quarterly targets.
  • Ensure proper product visibility, merchandising, and stock availability at outlets.
  • Conduct regular market visits to monitor competitor activities and pricing trends.
  • Collect orders, process payments, and ensure timely delivery coordination.
  • Provide feedback on customer needs, product performance, and market trends.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and prepare regular reports.

Requirements

  • Minimum of High School Diploma / SHS Certificate or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years proven experience in sales, preferably in FMCG or open market distribution.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
  • Good knowledge of the local market and territory.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office or sales tracking tools.
