Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and result-oriented Fleet & Key Account Manager to lead our driver management and automotive financial leasing operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead the recruitment, onboarding, and training of drivers.
- Maintain high standards of driver discipline, vehicle care, and service quality to maximize fleet uptime.
- Oversee the end-to-end life cycle of the Drive-to-Own and installment purchase programs, from contract signing to final ownership transfer.
- Implement rigorous risk control protocols for the DTO portfolio. Monitor driver repayment patterns, utilize GPS tracking systems, and lead asset recovery/repossession efforts in cases of default or contract breach.
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with ride-hailing platforms (e.g., Uber, Bolt, Yango), corporate clients, and financial institutions to drive leasing growth.
- Analyze fleet performance data, repayment rates, and vehicle maintenance costs to provide actionable insights for business optimization.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 to 5 years in fleet management, car rental, or automotive leasing.
- Must have hands-on experience in the Drive-to-Own (DTO) or Hire-Purchase business model.
- Proven ability to manage credit risk and handle difficult driver-related conflicts, including vehicle recovery operations.
- Deep understanding of Ghanaian traffic regulations, driver communities, and local logistics environment.
- Strong resilience and a high sense of responsibility. Must be willing to work overtime and handle emergencies outside of standard business hours.
- Excellent command of English (both written and verbal) and fluency in local languages (Twi/Ga) is a plus.
- Proficiency in GPS monitoring software and fleet management systems.
