Mechanical Technician

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Technician to install, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment and machinery in our facility. The ideal candidate will ensure optimal equipment performance, minimize downtime, and support production operations through preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment and machinery.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machines.
• Diagnose mechanical faults and perform troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and manuals.
• Ensure machinery operates according to safety and quality standards.
• Maintain maintenance records and report equipment performance issues.
• Assist in equipment upgrades, installations, and process improvements.
• Coordinate with production and engineering teams to resolve technical issues.

Requirements

• Diploma or technical certification in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in mechanical maintenance or industrial equipment repair(food production industry preferred).
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and equipment.
• Ability to read technical diagrams and maintenance manuals.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in shift-based industrial environments.
