Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Merchandiser to ensure our products are well-presented and available across retail outlets. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining product displays, monitoring stock levels, implementing merchandising standards, and supporting sales growth through effective in-store execution.
Responsibilities
- Ensure proper product placement, visibility, and availability in assigned outlets.
- Implement company merchandising standards, planograms, and promotional activities.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment to prevent stock-outs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with store managers and retail staff.
- Negotiate for additional display space and secondary placements.
- Set up promotional displays, gondolas, and point-of-sale materials.
- Conduct regular market visits and competitor analysis.
- Ensure pricing accuracy and product rotation (FIFO).
- Submit daily/weekly reports on sales performance, stock status, and market feedback.
- Support sales team in achieving monthly and annual sales targets.
- Travel as required to outlets for merchandising activities.
Requirements
- High school diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in merchandising or retail experience (FMCG experience preferred).
- Good understanding of retail merchandising and product display techniques.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and visit multiple store locations.
- Basic knowledge of sales reporting and inventory tracking.
- Target-driven with a proactive approach.
