Packaging Supervisor

Overview

Our client in the Manufacturing industry is seeking a Packaging Supervisor who will be responsible for overseeing daily packaging operations to ensure products are packed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with company standards and customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily packaging line operations.
• Ensure production targets and deadlines are met.
• Monitor packaging quality to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Train, guide, and evaluate packaging staff performance.
• Maintain proper documentation of production output, downtime, and quality checks.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and hygiene standards.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Warehouse teams.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and escalate when necessary.
• Monitor material usage and minimize waste.
• Ensure proper labelling, batch coding, and packaging accuracy.
• Conduct shift handovers and daily team briefings.

Requirements

• Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field (preferred).
• 10+ years of experience in packaging or manufacturing operations.
• Knowledge of packaging machinery and production processes.
• Understanding of quality systems (GMP, ISO, HACCP).
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
