Overview
Our client in the Manufacturing industry is seeking a Quality Control / Assurance Technician, who will be responsible for ensuring products meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements. This role supports production by performing inspections, tests, and documentation to identify defects, maintain compliance, and promote continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections and testing of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
- Verify products meet internal specifications, customer requirements, and regulatory standards.
- Document inspection results, test data, and non-conformances accurately and clearly.
- Identify quality issues and assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Support audits (internal, customer, and regulatory) by preparing records and documentation.
- Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality procedures.
- Calibrate and maintain inspection and testing equipment as required.
- Report quality deviations and work with production teams to resolve issues.
- Assist in updating quality procedures, work instructions, and control plans.
- Follow all safety, GMP, and company policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Quality Assurance / Quality Management, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in quality control, quality assurance, or a related technical role (experience in the plastic manufacturing industry is a plus).
- Knowledge of quality systems such as ISO, GMP, HACCP, or FDA regulations.
- Ability to read blueprints, specifications, or technical documents.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer skills (Excel, databases, quality management systems).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
