Overview

A reputable beverage manufacturing company is seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician who is responsible for supporting laboratory and production activities by maintaining, calibrating, and repairing mechanical equipment used in beverage manufacturing operations. The role focuses on ensuring equipment reliability, safety, and accuracy to support quality testing and efficient production processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical faults on bottling, filling, and packaging machines.
• Assist with equipment installation and commissioning.
• Conduct regular inspections to prevent breakdowns.
• Replace worn or faulty parts and lubricate moving components.
• Follow safety, quality, and hygiene standards in the plant.
• Maintain basic maintenance records and reports.
• Support production teams to minimize downtime.

Requirements

• Degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience as a Mechanical Technician, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and equipment.
• Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.
• Good teamwork and problem-solving skills.
