Overview
Our client in the Beverage Industry is seeking a Stock Controller who will be responsible for managing, monitoring, and maintaining accurate inventory levels to support smooth business operations. This role ensures that stock records are accurate, inventory is properly stored, and stock movements are well controlled to prevent losses, shortages, or overstocking.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and control inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability
- Maintain accurate stock records in inventory management systems
- Conduct regular stock counts, cycle counts, and audits
- Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies and variances
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming goods
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of stock
- Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and operations teams
- Prepare inventory reports and stock movement summaries
- Identify slow-moving, obsolete, or damaged stock
- Support stock forecasting and replenishment planning
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and safety standards
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field
- 2-3 experience in inventory control, warehousing, or stock management
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and stock control procedures
- Basic knowledge of procurement and warehouse operations
- Proficiency in MS Excel and inventory software
