A Cocoa Processing Company is seeking experienced Farmer Field Book (FFB) Data Agent to support its Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) activities. The FFB Data Agent, will be responsible for leading data collection for impact assessments, engagement of stakeholders in relation to all impact assessment programs and data quality checking in the assigned districts.
Leading data collection for impact assessments
Follow up on farmers to ensure daily update of farmer field forms
Conduct Ad hoc data collections for impact assessment on various projects
Collect extensive farm-level data on practices, yields, inputs via digital devices
Reporting and stakeholders’ engagement
Participate in drafting impact assessment reports for stakeholders
Ensure training/understanding of Farmers in line with the needs of impact studies
Present impact report to farmers and farmer groups
Ensuring quality of data collected in communities assigned to
Assist field team with application set ups and data collection tool management
Constantly follow up to ensure proper functioning of data collection tools
Monitor data quality and verify program implementation
Diploma/Degree in Statistics, Economics, Data Science, Agronomy or related field with 2 years of relevant experience.
Proficiency in English is required and fluency in local language in the cocoa growing areas is a plus.
Strong skills in data collection analysis and presentation tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Experience training others in quantitative and qualitative data collection.
Familiarity with data collection technologies and mobile-based tools (ODK, Appsheets, Google Forms).
Good project management, planning, and organizational skills.
Must have a valid Motorbike rider's license.
Proven experience working in remote, rural areas.
