Overview
The Marketer is responsible for promoting the company’s plastic products and materials, developing market opportunities, expanding customer base, and supporting sales growth. The role involves conducting market research, engaging clients, promoting products, and coordinating marketing campaigns.
Responsibilities
Market Development & Promotion
- Promote plastic products and materials to customers.
- Identify new market opportunities and potential clients.
- Conduct field marketing activities to increase brand visibility.
Customer Acquisition & Relationship Management
- Generate leads through visits, calls, and networking.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure repeat business.
- Provide product information, samples, and technical support where needed.
Sales Support & Coordination
- Work closely with sales executives to support closing of deals.
- Follow up on customer inquiries, quotations, and order confirmations.
- Ensure customer needs are properly communicated to production and dispatch teams.
Marketing Campaigns & Activities
- Support the development and execution of marketing campaigns, promotions, and product launches.
- Assist in organizing trade shows, exhibitions, and customer engagement events.
Market Research & Reporting
- Conduct competitor analysis to understand pricing, product offerings, and market trends.
- Track sales performance and provide insights for decision-making.
- Prepare weekly and monthly marketing activity reports.
Requirements
- Senior High School Certificate or Diploma in Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of marketing or sales experience (experience in plastics or manufacturing is an advantage).
- Strong field marketing and customer engagement skills.
- Good communication, persuasion, and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to work independently and meet targets.
- Familiarity with marketing tools and basic digital marketing is a plus.
- Must be willing to travel for field marketing and client visits.
