Overview
We are seeking a skilled IT Support Officer who will provide technical support to staff, troubleshoot system and network issues, and ensure smooth daily IT operations. In addition, the role requires hands-on experience in programming and basic web/app development to support internal digital tools, automate workflows, and contribute to small-scale software projects.
Responsibilities
- Provide first- and second-level support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, network devices, and applications.
- Diagnose and resolve system errors, login issues, internet problems, and server-related challenges.
- Assist in developing, updating, and maintaining company websites and internal web-based tools.
- Support mobile app updates, debugging, and minor enhancements.
- Collaborate with senior developers on coding tasks or small software feature updates.
- Write clean, efficient code using languages such as React.js, Laravel, Tailwind CSS or similar.
- Support data backup processes and ensure proper storage of digital information.
- Support integration of systems and digital platforms used by the organization.
- Assist in maintaining dashboards, analytics tools, and internal systems.
Requirements
- Degree or HND in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 1–3 years’ experience in IT support, helpdesk, or technical operations.
- Basic to intermediate programming skills (e.g., React.js, Laravel).
- Experience with web technologies (WordPress, Laravel, React.js, Tailwind CSS etc.).
- Knowledge of mobile app frameworks is an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of computer systems, networks, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Familiarity with database systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.).
- Strong problem-solving, multitasking, and communication skills.
- Should be living in and around North Legon and Madina.
