Overview

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Bakery Chef who will be responsible for producing high-quality baked goods, pastries, and desserts while maintaining consistency, creativity, and exceptional food standards.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and bake breads, pastries, cakes, cookies, and specialty items.
  • Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation of all baked products.
  • Decorate cakes and pastries according to standards or customer requests.
  • Develop new recipes and improve existing ones.
  • Maintain hygiene and follow all food safety regulations.
  • Manage inventory, order supplies, and minimize waste.
  • Operate and maintain bakery equipment.
  • Train and guide junior bakers or assistants.
  • Coordinate daily production schedules to meet demand.

Requirements

  • Diploma or certification in Baking, Pastry Arts, or Culinary Arts (preferred).
  • 2–5 years of professional baking or pastry kitchen experience.
  • Strong knowledge of baking techniques and pastry production.
  • Creativity in flavors and presentation.
  • Excellent time-management and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work early mornings and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Culinary or baking certification preferred.
