Overview
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Bakery Chef who will be responsible for producing high-quality baked goods, pastries, and desserts while maintaining consistency, creativity, and exceptional food standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake breads, pastries, cakes, cookies, and specialty items.
- Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation of all baked products.
- Decorate cakes and pastries according to standards or customer requests.
- Develop new recipes and improve existing ones.
- Maintain hygiene and follow all food safety regulations.
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and minimize waste.
- Operate and maintain bakery equipment.
- Train and guide junior bakers or assistants.
- Coordinate daily production schedules to meet demand.
Requirements
- Diploma or certification in Baking, Pastry Arts, or Culinary Arts (preferred).
- 2–5 years of professional baking or pastry kitchen experience.
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques and pastry production.
- Creativity in flavors and presentation.
- Excellent time-management and attention to detail.
- Ability to work early mornings and in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Culinary or baking certification preferred.
