Retail Supervisor

Overview

A Consumer Electronics Company is seeking a proactive and experienced Retail Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of the retail store within an assigned area or branch, ensuring that sales targets are met, customer satisfaction is maintained, and brand standards are consistently upheld. The role involves supervising retail staff, monitoring product displays, managing inventory, and implementing effective sales and promotional strategies to drive business growth in the consumer electronics sector.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of assigned retail outlets.
• Ensure stores are clean, well-organized, and comply with visual merchandising standards.
• Oversee proper product placement, labeling, and promotional displays.
• Drive sales performance across all retail outlets to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports and identify performance gaps.
• Supervise and motivate retail sales staff, cashiers, and merchandisers.
• Ensure optimal stock levels and coordinate timely product replenishment.
• Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Build strong relationships with customers/shop owners to encourage them to buy more.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• 3–5 years’ experience in retail supervision, preferably within the consumer electronics, telecom, or FMCG industry.
• Proven experience managing retail teams and achieving sales targets.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and POS (Point-of-Sale) systems.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays when required.
