Factory Manager

Overview

The factory manager will oversee all manufacturing operations in the production facility, ensuring efficient, safe and cost effective production that meets the quality standards and delivery schedules. The role involves managing staffs, optimizing production processes, ensuring compliance with environmental and safety regulations and deriving continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

Plan, organize, control and monitor daily production activities and ensure timely production.

Maintain high standards of product quality and collaborate with quality control department to identify and resolve quality issues.

Monitor production cost and implement cost saving initiatives.

Ensure compliance with environmental standards, conduct regular safety audits, and risk assessment.

Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability and continuous improvement.

Manage inventory levels to balance cost efficiency and production continuity.

Prepare regular reports on production performance, operational efficiency and communicate production updates with senior management.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.

Minimum experience of 3-5 years in manufacturing, preferably in paper industry.

Strong understanding of paper production processes, machinery and maintenance system.

Proven experience in production planning, process optimization and quality control system.

Excellent leadership and people management skills.

Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
