Packaging Supervisor

Overview

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Packaging Supervisor for a Plastics Manufacturing Company who will be responsible for overseeing all packaging operations to ensure products are packed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with quality standards and production schedules. This role involves supervising packaging staff, maintaining equipment performance, ensuring adherence to safety and GMP standards, and optimizing packaging line efficiency to meet customer and organizational goals.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily packaging operations to ensure efficient, safe, and timely product packing.
• Assign tasks, train, and supervise packaging staff to maintain productivity and performance.
• Ensure packaging quality, correct labeling, and compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Monitor and maintain packaging equipment, coordinating repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Enforce safety rules and maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment.
• Record production data accurately and prepare reports on output and performance.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Industrial Engineering, Packaging Technology, Food Science, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in plastic manufacturing industry or related fields.
• Basic knowledge in data entry.
• Experience in [specific industry, e.g., food & beverage / pharmaceuticals / FMCG / manufacturing] preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems for reporting and scheduling.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.
