Our client needs A Store keeper who will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of a store or warehouse. The role involves receiving, inspecting, and recording incoming materials; organizing and maintaining inventory; and issuing supplies to departments as needed. A Storekeeper ensures stock accuracy through regular monitoring and updates, maintains proper storage conditions, and follows safety and company guidelines. They also assist with inventory audits, prepare reports, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely availability of materials. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and basic computer knowledge are essential for this position.
· Maintain and update inventory records accurately
· Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and supplies
· Ensure proper storage and organization of goods
· Issue materials to authorized personnel as required
· Perform regular stock checks and audits
· Track and record stock movement (in/out)
· Prepare inventory reports for management
· Monitor stock levels and initiate purchase requests when needed
· Ensure safety and security of stored items
· Prevent damage, loss, or theft of materials
· Maintain cleanliness in the store area
· Label, tag, and categorize items for easy identification
· Coordinate with procurement and other departments
· Handle returns, replacements, and disposal of surplus items
· Comply with company policies and inventory procedures
