Overview
Our Client is looking for a Category Brand Manager to Develop and drive the overall brand/category strategies by creating and applying Regional/local marketing initiatives to deliver the right balance of organic growth, brand expansion and diversification, supported by the appropriate resources and information networks to deliver agreed profitability.
Responsibilities
- Create, develop, and oversee the implementation of brand strategy to support the overall marketing strategy.
- Deliver brand targets for NNS & MC, M&C plans, NPD programs and brand equity / brand health measures (awareness, trial, attribute rating etc.)
- Deliver overall budgeted profitability by growing and sustaining brand performance.
- Lead NPD process for Ghana ensuring that its requirements are managed and delivered according to targets.
- Ensure category pricing supports brand positioning and is relevant to the competitive arena.
- Lead the selection of the appropriate Trade Channels.
- Explore and exploit new opportunities for the brand portfolio.
- Identify market, category and consumer insights and deliver agreed marketing research plans.
- Monitor, control and report brand performance through brand health indicators such as NNS, GM, MC & key consumer KPIs providing solutions to shortfalls.
- Execute brand M&C plan within guidelines & budget, creating and modifying as necessary to meet objectives.
- Proactively run the Business Planning process.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
- A minimum of 7+ years’ experience in digital marketing, preferably within the FMCG industry.
- A proven track record of developing and launching successful marketing campaigns.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- A creative mind with a passion for storytelling and brand building.
