Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Safety Manager to oversee workplace health, safety, and environmental standards in our beverage production facility. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with all safety regulations, promote a strong safety culture, and minimize risks to employees, equipment, and the environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and audits across production areas.
- Ensure compliance with local and international safety regulations and standards.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and implement corrective actions.
- Organize and lead safety training sessions for all employees and contractors.
- Oversee the use and maintenance of safety equipment and protective gear.
- Collaborate with production, maintenance, and quality teams to identify and mitigate hazards.
- Maintain accurate safety records and prepare reports for management.
- Promote continuous improvement in workplace safety and emergency preparedness.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities during safety inspections or compliance checks.
Requirements
- Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in safety management, preferably in the food or beverage manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of HSE laws, standards, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to train and motivate employees to follow safety procedures.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
