Overview
A reputable Manufacturing company is seeking a highly organized and reliable Personal Assistant with a Mechanical Engineering background to provide administrative and personal support to the Operations Manager. The ideal candidate is proactive, discreet, and capable of handling a wide range of tasks with professionalism and a positive attitude.
Responsibilities
- Manage calendar and schedule meetings with various departments, external vendors, and clients.
- Act as a central point of contact, screening and prioritizing phone calls, emails, and correspondence for the operations manager.
- Responsible for organizing and maintaining operational documents, reports, and databases.
- Assist with various operational projects, such as preparing presentations, compiling research on new systems, and tracking project deadlines.
- Act as a point of contact between the executive and internal/external stakeholders.
- Handle a range of administrative tasks, including preparing expense reports, booking travel arrangements for business trips, and organizing and maintaining office systems and procedures.
Requirements
- HND/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Must be a Mechanical Engineer with a fair knowledge in AutoCAD.
- Ability to speak French will be an added advantage.
- At least 2 years of proven experience as a Personal Assistant in a Manufacturing company is a plus.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
