Overview

We are seeking a motivated and passionate Cook to join our restaurant team in the Baguida area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing dishes to the restaurant’s standards, maintaining kitchen hygiene, and contributing to an efficient and enjoyable dining experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and plate dishes according to the restaurant’s standards and recipes.

  • Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards are maintained in the kitchen.

  • Manage kitchen stock, monitor inventory, and assist in ordering supplies.

  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service and timely delivery of meals.

  • Follow proper food handling and storage procedures to minimize waste and maintain quality.

  • Adapt to high-pressure situations, particularly during peak service hours.

Requirements

Qualifications & Skills

Education & Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in a kitchen, preferably in hospitality or restaurant settings.

  • Culinary training or relevant certification is an advantage but not required.

Technical Skills

  • Knowledge of cooking techniques, food preparation, and plating.

  • Ability to manage kitchen tools and equipment safely and efficiently.

Soft Skills

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

  • Team player with good communication skills.

  • Punctual, dynamic, and disciplined.

  • Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Location

  • Preferably residing in Baguida or nearby areas.
