Junior Auditor

Overview

We are seeking motivated Junior Auditors to join a leading international audit and consulting firm in Lomé. The successful candidates will participate in diverse audit engagements, gaining exposure to national, regional, and international clients, while developing their professional skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform statutory audits of companies and groups in accordance with IFRS, US GAAP, SYSCOHADA, SYCEBNL, PCB, and CIMA standards.

• Support contractual and special audit engagements (acquisitions, divestitures).

• Participate in internal audits and process reviews, identifying control weaknesses.

• Conduct risk assessments and evaluate the reliability of information systems.

• Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements and reports.

• Maintain accurate documentation of audit procedures and findings.

• Collaborate with senior auditors and client teams to ensure smooth engagement execution.

• Apply data analysis and statistical tools to support audit testing.

Requirements

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (Bac+4 / Bac+5) in Audit, Accounting, Finance, or related fields.

• Graduates from business schools or engineering programs are also eligible.

• Minimum 1 year of professional experience in external audit or a consulting firm is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access.

• Familiarity with accounting software (SAGE SAARI, PERFECTO) and ERP systems.

• Basic understanding of data analysis and statistical tools.

• Awareness of AI-based audit tools is a plus.

Languages
