Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Network & Security Administrator to join our IT team in Lomé. Reporting directly to the IT Director (DSI), you will be responsible for maintaining and monitoring the group’s network infrastructure, ensuring system availability, security, and performance. You will also support client environments through our maintenance contracts.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot the group’s network infrastructure and IT equipment.

  • Support and maintain client IT systems as part of service contracts.

  • Analyze user and client needs, draft functional specifications, and implement action plans.

  • Diagnose and resolve technical and production incidents (Level 1 & 2 support).

  • Ensure proper follow-up and reporting of anomalies, incidents, and resolutions.

  • Configure and manage routers, switches, VLANs, firewalls (Fortinet, QoS, VPN SSL/IPSEC).

  • Manage and optimize virtualization platforms (VMware vSphere/ESXi, Microsoft Hyper-V).

  • Provide system administration on Windows Server (all versions), Office 365, Active Directory.

  • Monitor cybersecurity risks and implement corrective measures.

  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and technology partners.

Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Network Administration, or related field (Bac+2 or higher).

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in network/system administration.

Technical Skills

  • Strong expertise in networking: VLAN, switching, routing, QoS.

  • Hands-on experience with Fortinet firewalls.

  • Proficiency in Windows Server, Office 365, Active Directory.

  • Solid knowledge of VPN SSL/IPSEC configuration.

  • Mandatory experience with VMware vSphere/ESXi and Microsoft Hyper-V.

  • Strong documentation and technical writing skills.

Preferred “Plus” Skills

  • Knowledge of storage systems (SAN/NAS).

  • Cybersecurity practices & backup policy management.

  • Familiarity with call center software.

  • Good understanding of SQL Server and Windows 10/11 environments.

Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Rigor, reactivity, and ability to manage priorities under pressure.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.

  • High autonomy and motivation to propose continuous technical improvements.
