Junior Auditor

Overview

We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Junior Auditors to support our audit teams. In this role, you will participate in statutory and contractual audits, risk assessments, and internal control reviews across diverse industries. This position is ideal for ambitious candidates eager to strengthen their expertise in international accounting frameworks (IFRS, US GAAP, SYSCOHADA, and others) while contributing to high-impact client projects.

Responsibilities

• Conduct statutory audits (legal audit/commissariat aux comptes) of companies and groups under IFRS, US GAAP, SYSCOHADA, SYCEBNL, PCB, and CIMA frameworks.

• Participate in contractual audits and special assignments (e.g., acquisitions, disposals).

• Support internal audit missions and review organizational procedures.

• Analyze business risks, evaluate internal control systems, and assess IT systems reliability.

• Collaborate with senior auditors to deliver high-quality audit reports and client recommendations.

• Work across multiple industries with leading national and international clients.

Requirements

Education

• Master’s degree (Bac+4 / Bac+5) in Audit, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.

• Graduates from business schools, engineering schools, or equivalent programs.

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of professional experience in external audit or within an accounting/audit firm.

Skills & Competencies

• Critical thinking, analytical rigor, autonomy, and strong time management.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with intellectual curiosity.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access).

• Familiarity with accounting software (SAGE SAARI, Perfecto) and ERP systems.

• Competence in data analysis and statistical software tools.

• Awareness of modern Artificial Intelligence tools is a strong asset.

• Fluency in English is an advantage.
