We are seeking a highly skilled Head of Finance to lead our finance function in Lomé. The successful candidate will manage statutory and group reporting, budgets, cash flow, tax compliance, and financial analysis, while also supporting operational teams with cost control and performance monitoring. As a trusted business partner, the Head of Finance will drive continuous improvement, strengthen internal controls, and contribute to the company’s long-term growth.
Financial Accounting & Reporting
Supervise statutory and group reporting under local GAAP and IFRS.
Ensure accurate closings (monthly, quarterly, yearly).
Coordinate external audits and ensure readiness.
Provide management with financial analysis for decision-making.
Financial Planning & Control
Prepare budgets and forecasts in collaboration with operations.
Monitor variances vs. budget and propose corrective measures.
Develop financial reporting tools tailored to plant operations.
Cost Accounting & Performance Monitoring
Build cost structures per product/line and monitor cost variances.
Analyze profitability per line and track cost-per-minute.
Oversee labor costs and productivity metrics.
Inventory, Assets & Treasury
Manage inventory valuation, stock counts, and shrinkage control.
Oversee fixed asset management and capital expenditure tracking.
Manage daily cash flows, working capital, and banking relationships.
Tax, Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure compliance with tax obligations and lead tax audits.
Implement tax optimization strategies.
Strengthen internal controls and prevent financial risks or fraud.
ERP & Systems
Supervise ERP (SAP, Oracle…) usage and data quality.
Automate financial reporting and streamline processes.
Support system upgrades and digital finance projects.
Leadership & Business Partnering
Lead and coach the finance team, fostering a performance-driven culture.
Partner with production, supply chain, HR, and procurement teams.
Provide financial insights to optimize operations and strategic projects.
Education: Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
Experience: Minimum 8–10 years in finance, including 3–5 years in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in IFRS, local GAAP, ERP systems, and budgeting.
Strong knowledge of tax planning, cost accounting, and financial controls.
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proven leadership and team management experience.
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
High level of business acumen and strategic mindset.
Languages: Fluency in both French and English (written and spoken) required.
