Overview
The Marketing Manager will supervise all BTL and ATL duties of the marketing team. Ensure overall development of marketing strategies through external communications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the creation and promotion of a departmental culture that promotes integrity, high performance, continuous improvement, and commitment to quality.
Responsibilities
- Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts within business and industry media whilst building long-term relationships with all relevant suppliers
- Responsible for managing government relations i.e. Municipal Assembly permits for OOH
- Training & monitoring of marketing executives on in-shop branding
- Gathering of competitive market intelligence and advising Management on the way forward
- Spearheading key accounts projects and key market activations
- Sponsorship(s) and Event management.
- Evaluate opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships and advertising on an on-going basis.
- Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends affecting clients and make appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategy surrounding them
- Handle crisis communications with well-organized plans, excellent media relations and smooth approach to controlling narrative.
- Manage internal communication between departments, executives, and front-line employees.
- Develop multi-pronged approaches to keeping the brand in the public eye
- Plan and guide business image with cohesive strategies encompassing everything from logos to topics addressed with media.
- Manage and supervises the fabrications and installations of OOH (Billboards & other Outdoor publicities)
Requirements
- MBA in Marketing /Degree in Marketing with a Professional Certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years and above related work experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and excellent computer skills.
- Strong analytical skills, Project Management, marketing research and risk management.
- Sales promotion, networking and ability to influence, creative skills.
- Confident communicator and presenter, Time management skills and Technology/Web Savvy.
