The Community Manager is responsible for building, engaging, and nurturing the online and offline community around the organization’s brand. This role involves managing social media platforms, creating engaging content, moderating discussions, and fostering meaningful relationships with followers, clients, and partners. The Community Manager also monitors trends, gathers feedback, and analyzes engagement metrics to develop strategies that enhance brand visibility, customer loyalty, and community growth.
Develop, implement, and manage the company’s social media strategy.
Create, curate, and publish engaging content across social media platforms.
Monitor, moderate, and respond to community comments and messages in a timely manner.
Build and nurture relationships with online followers, customers, and brand advocates.
Analyze social media insights and community feedback to measure engagement and improve strategies.
Collaborate with the marketing, communications, and sales teams to align community activities with business objectives.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Marketing, Public Relations, Digital Media, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience: Proven experience as a Community Manager, Social Media Manager, or similar role.
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).
Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, or Meta Business Suite).
Basic knowledge of content creation tools (Canva, Photoshop, or video editing software) is an advantage.
Understanding of analytics tools (Google Analytics, platform insights, etc.).
Soft Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Creativity and ability to craft engaging content.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships online and offline.
Problem-solving attitude and ability to handle community feedback tactfully.
Time management and organizational skills.
Languages: [Adapt based on context — e.g., Fluency in English and French is required for Togo/West Africa].
