Health, Safety & Environment Assistant

Overview

We are currently looking for a committed and proactive HSE Assistant to support the development and monitoring of Health, Safety and Environmental initiatives within our operations. The ideal candidate will ensure strict compliance with HSE regulations and actively contribute to building a strong safety culture.

Responsibilities

• Monitor workshop safety updates and identify risk situations

• Implement and track HSE improvement action plans

• Participate in safety meetings and communicate incidents and improvements

• Strengthen documentation on hygiene, safety, and environmental matters

• Contribute to daily HSE training and awareness sessions

• Ensure HSE rules are respected and report non-compliance

• Organize mandatory HSE training sessions and manage their logistics

• Conduct team training and awareness campaigns on HSE standards

• Follow up on HSE activity-related action plans

• Analyze incidents and accidents to define corrective actions

• Plan and carry out emergency drills

• Stay updated on safety and environmental regulations

• Maintain HSE visual communications and manage the distribution of PPE

• Support the sourcing and selection of HSE equipment suppliers

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and safety management tools

• Excellent organizational skills, rigor, and analytical thinking

• Proactivity and ability to take initiative

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
