Overview

Big Ada is the location of this contract Grow-out Manager position. In charge of monitoring fish growth and development in the company's aquaculture systems will be the Grow-out Manager. This entails maintaining ideal circumstances for fish growth, controlling fish numbers, and keeping an eye on the quality of the water. In addition, the Grow-out Manager will be in charge of personnel management and training, job scheduling, and reporting progress to upper management.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement aquaculture production plans.

Oversee daily operations and ensure adherence to regulations.

Manage staff, training, and performance evaluations.

Monitor and maintain water quality and environmental conditions.

Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for necessary resources.

Conduct financial planning and budget management.

Implement health and safety protocols for staff and aquatic life.

Requirements

Analytical Skills and Project Management experience

Excellent communication skills

Knowledge of aquaculture and fish growth

Experience managing and training staff

Ability to work on-site in Big Ada

Bachelor's degree in Aquaculture, Fisheries, Biology, or related field

Must know how to swim

Experience working in the aquaculture industry is a plus
