Overview

We are seeking a talented, creative and skilled Baker to design creative menus and oversee the production of premium baked goods and pastries. This position involves sourcing top-quality ingredients, ensuring adherence to food safety standards, and working closely with the culinary team to create distinctive, visually stunning desserts.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop innovative menus for bread, pastries, and desserts.
  • Ensure the production of high-quality baked goods, by ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
  • Master various pastry techniques including baking, decorating, tempering, molding and finishing.
  • Work with a team of pastry chefs and bakers.
  • Source premium ingredients and uphold strict food safety and hygiene protocols.
  • Work alongside the culinary team to create unique, visually appealing desserts.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Bakery Chef in a culinary setting.
  • Culinary degree or diploma from a recognized culinary institution specializing in pastry arts is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients and equipment.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational abilities.
  • Creative passion for baking.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and consistently meet deadlines.
