Overview

A University College is looking for a motivated and results-driven Marketing Officer. In order to attract students for degree, diploma, and short courses, build collaborations with various stakeholders, and increase public awareness and presence of the University College, the Marketing Officer will be instrumental in these efforts. Strategic planning, target-based work, and cooperation with the current marketing team are all part of the job description.

Responsibilities

Planning:

  • Develop comprehensive marketing proposals for SIIMT University College.
  • Create and implement weekly, quarterly, and yearly marketing plans.

Target-Based Work:

  • Set and achieve specific marketing targets to contribute to the growth of student enrollment.

Public Awareness:

  • Enhance the public awareness and presence of SIIMT University College.

Corporate Engagement:

  • Conduct physical visits to companies to establish corporate training partnerships.
  • Build collaborations with agents to attract students.

Partnerships:

  • Form partnerships with language schools to broaden outreach.

Student Recruitment:

  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to attract both Ghanaian and Non-Ghanaian students.
  • Bring in students for Degree, Diploma, and Short Courses.

Scholarship Initiatives:

  • Host scholarship programs in high schools to attract potential students.

Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate and organized documentation related to marketing activities.

Networking:

  • Follow up, engage, and generate business from existing networks.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to achieve collective goals.

Punctuality:

  • Ensure timely attendance and promptness for self and the marketing team.

Digital Presence:

  • Utilize Facebook Ad Manager and Google Ad Manager for effective online advertising.
  • Oversee continuous and impactful social media presence through regular posting.

Requirements

A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a similar discipline.

Demonstrated experience in a marketing capacity, ideally in the field of education.

Strong leadership qualities and the capacity to inspire and guide a group.

Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities.

Adept in utilizing the platforms and resources for digital marketing.

Working Conditions:

Full-time job with potential for weekend work on specific occasions.

Physical company visits and other promotional efforts may necessitate travel.
