Senior Software Engineer

Overview

Designing, creating, and maintaining our future generation of Android apps using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose to provide an outstanding user experience is the responsibility of the Senior Software Engineer (Android).

Responsibilities

• Using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, we design, develop, and implement features for our Android applications that are high-quality, performant, and maintainable. • Work together with backend developers, product managers, and designers to specify technical solutions and guarantee smooth platform integration. • Write code that is clear, well-documented, and tested while following coding standards and best practices. • Review code and provide junior developers with guidance. • Keep abreast on the most recent developments in Android development, including trends and technology. • Take part in the overall application architecture's design and execution. • Diagnose and fix complicated bugs and performance problems.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional Android programming experience. • Shown proficiency using Kotlin as your main language for development. • Thorough familiarity with Jetpack Compose for creating cutting-edge, intuitive user interfaces. • Familiarity with the Android SDK, Android Studio, and a variety of build tools (such as Gradle). • Strong knowledge of the MVVM and other Android architectural patterns. • It helps to have prior experience with unit testing frameworks like Mockito and JUnit. • It is advantageous to have prior experience with UI testing frameworks like Espresso. • It is advantageous to have prior experience with version control systems (Git). • CI/CD pipeline experience is helpful. • Knowledge with XML and Java is advantageous. • Outstanding debugging and problem-solving abilities. • Excellent teamwork and communication abilities
