Maintenance Supervisor

Overview

We are looking for a qualified Maintenance Supervisor to oversee our maintenance staff and make sure that there is no unplanned downtime in any of our production processes. In this position, you will be in charge of our machinery and equipment's regular and preventative maintenance, ensuring that each component operates at its best.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and lead daily maintenance tasks while making sure that business rules and safety regulations are followed. • To reduce machine downtime, plan and schedule regular inspections and preventative maintenance. • Oversee maintenance staff, including scheduling, training, and performance reviews. • To enhance operational efficiency, determine what needs to be repaired and upgraded, then start improvement initiatives. • Keep track of all work done and keep maintenance logs. • Work together with other department leaders to match maintenance to overarching operational plans. • Make certain that every piece of equipment and tool is kept in excellent operating condition and complies with industry requirements.

Requirements

• Mechanical engineering bachelor's degree or HND, or a similar degree. • Experience as a Maintenance Supervisor for at least three years. • Shown expertise with a fertilizer blending plant. • Strong technical knowledge of plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and electronic systems, among others. • Technical background: Excellent understanding of HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems. • Certifications in project management or process management techniques (such as Lean Six Sigma, CMRP, etc.) • Tools for project management: Continuous improvement techniques and lean maintenance.
