Overview

We are looking for a skilled and experienced warehouse supervisor to manage inventory, monitor all warehouse employees, and guarantee seamless operations and productive efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining effective staff coordination while supervising and managing the warehouse's daily activities, such as receiving, storing, mixing, bagging, and shipping goods or resources. • To protect the safety of every warehouse worker, business rules and safety requirements must be monitored and enforced. • Keeping correct records, doing cycle counts, and addressing any inconsistencies are all part of inventory management. • Plan and distribute resources efficiently to fulfil daily operating needs while reducing downtime and increasing productivity. • To help warehouse employees develop their skills and knowledge and do their jobs as efficiently as possible, train, coach, and provide them regular feedback. • Collaborate with other departments, including finance and sales, to efficiently handle and rank incoming and outgoing shipments. • Always look for ways to enhance processes and make adjustments to boost productivity and cut expenses. • Maintain order, cleanliness, and adherence to quality standards by conducting routine audits and inspections. • Oversee and settle any disputes or problems that may come up in the warehouse, making sure they are resolved quickly and preserving good employee relations. • Create and evaluate reports on warehouse operations, including accuracy in shipping and receiving, inventory levels, and productivity, and offer suggestions for enhancements.

Requirements

• It is desirable to have a bachelor's degree or HND in supply chain management and logistics, or a similar discipline. • Two or more years of experience working as a warehouse supervisor in a fertilizer warehouse. • Familiarity with warehouse safety laws and expertise in putting safety procedures into practice. • Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and competence with pertinent software programs. • Excellent computer abilities, including mastery of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook). • The capacity to work a variety of hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed for operational requirements. • Strong attention to detail and organizing abilities.
