Safety Supervisor

Overview

We are looking for a highly driven and skilled Safety Supervisor to oversee and direct safety procedures in our manufacturing plant. Creating safety rules, providing training, making sure that regulations are followed, and cultivating a strong safety culture across all areas are all necessary for the position.

Responsibilities

• Create and improve operating protocols and safety management systems in accordance with legal requirements, corporate standards, and industry best practices. • Plan and carry out safety exercises and training sessions to raise staff members' knowledge of safety issues and their capacity for responding to emergencies. • Conduct routine hazard assessments and safety inspections to quickly identify and remedy safety hazards. • Examine safety events, determine their underlying causes, and put corrective measures in place to stop them from happening again. • Provide management reports, gather and evaluate safety-related data, and suggest enhancements. • To guarantee correct operation and compliance, supervise the usage and upkeep of safety equipment. • To make sure your activities comply with legal standards, stay up to date on local and national safety rules. • Work together with different departments to improve safe manufacturing processes and advance safety culture.

Requirements

• NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) and a master's degree. • Three years or more in a management position, ideally in a manufacturing setting. • Strong knowledge of risk management, management systems, safety procedures, and leadership concepts. • Shown aptitude for doing training, danger assessments, and safety inspections. • Outstanding problem-solving, organizing, and communication abilities.
