The Manager – Purchase & Admin is responsible for overseeing procurement activities, supplier management, and administrative operations to ensure smooth business functions. This role involves negotiating with vendors, optimizing procurement costs, managing office facilities, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Processing and reviewing purchase orders, confirming requests, and making sure approvals comply with procurement regulations are all part of procurement operations. • Vendor management and negotiation: Get quotations from suppliers, haggle over prices, and guarantee on-time delivery while cultivating a solid rapport with vendors. • Inventory and Budget Control: To ensure budgetary compliance, keep an eye on stock levels, predict demand, and track procurement expenditures. • Compliance & Documentation: Maintain correct procurement records while making ensuring that ethical standards, legal requirements, and corporate policies are followed. • Strategic Sourcing & Cost Optimization: To improve procurement efficiency, carry out market research, find areas for cost reduction, and assist with supplier assessment.
• Education: A bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a similar discipline is required. • Experience: at least four years in purchasing or procurement, with at least two of those years spent in a managerial role. • Technical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as proficiency with ERP and procurement tools. • Soft skills include outstanding communication, meticulousness, and the capacity to multitask under duress. • Work Commitment: Must be able to work quickly and accurately, as well as be flexible on the weekends and overtime depending on operational requirements.
