• Site Visitation: Visiting sites to keep an eye on developments and make sure work is being done to the necessary standards. • Estimating and tracking building expenses from start to finish is known as cost planning and management. • Contract administration includes monitoring agreements between clients and contractors as well as creating contract documentation, such as bills of quantities. • Analyzing and assessing contractor tenders is known as tender analysis. • Project viability: Assessing a project's viability through feasibility studies. • Financial Reporting: Consistently creating and delivering financial reports and statements.
• A bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, quantity surveying, or a similar discipline. • Professional affiliation or accreditation from an established professional association, such as the Chartered Institute of Buildings (CIOB) or the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) • Three to five years of engineering-related experience as a quantity surveyor • Proficiency in data analysis and statistical reporting • Proficiency with Microsoft Software • Software proficiency, including AutoCAD, BIM, and Autodesk quantity takeoff • Excellent planning abilities • Diligent and extremely detail-oriented
